Telecom-West announces
distributorship agreement with Nortel Networks
Shingle Springs,
California – August 21, 2001 - Telecom-West , a leading voice
solution provider, and Nortel Networks, a global leader in
networking and communications solutions and infrastructure,
announced today they have signed a distribution agreement for North
America.
This agreement will now enable Telecom-West to market the full
Nortel Networks Meridian 1 product line. In addition, the Northern
California based company will distribute Nortel Networks Passport,
Optical Internetworking Solutions, and the complete line of Nortel
Networks Data Networking products.
Telecom-West has been servicing and installing Nortel Networks
Meridian 1 products since 1992. This agreement will now allow them
to sell the products they have been servicing as sub-contractors to
other distributors.
"This is now our opportunity to provide end users with the service
they deserve and are paying for, " says Ron Ahlers, president of
Telecom-West.
"We have seen the mistakes others have made and now we can step up
to the plate."
Telecom-West will be providing service in Northern California
including the Silicon Valley, Sacramento region, Lake Tahoe/Reno,
and the San Juaquin Valley.
