Communications Introduces First AdaptRateTM
GigE Wireless Links
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2006--BridgeWave
Communications, the leading supplier of multi-gigabit wireless
solutions, announces the launch of the industry's first adaptive
rate gigabit wireless links. BridgeWave's AdaptRate products
automatically switch between full GigE and 100 Mbps data rates when
needed to overcome the temporary effects of intense rain downpours.
AdaptRate links provide continuous link operation regardless of
weather.
"BridgeWave wireless links enable highly-available enterprise,
government and network operator GigE applications, without the cost
and delays of installing fiber cabling between buildings," explained

availability is March 2006.
